FAQs
How much is it and how long can we stay? Admission is $20 for ages 1-18. Under 1’s and adults (over 18’s) are free (up to two adults per paying child). This allows you to come and go as you wish within our opening hours for the day. We don’t run sessions, nor are bookings required.
How much time will we need? Allow at least an hour. Most visitors stay between 1-2 hours, with some making a full day of it.
What ages do you cater to? We believe all ages can benefit from our content. With that said, not everything will be suitable for all ages - some are created specifically for toddlers and some specifically for teens and adults. Of course, everyone is welcome to have a go at whatever they choose.
Is it safe for toddlers? The nature of our games and toys means there are loose parts, for example marbles and Lego, that could present a choking hazard. Items of this nature are, where possible, located together in the same rooms. As long as parents and carers are vigilant, our youngest visitors can enjoy these spaces too. The bulk of our content contains no such small parts.
When are you open? See below for our opening hours. From 3pm each day, we are open for booked groups only.
Is there a cafe? Can we bring food? We don’t have any food or drink for purchase onsite. However, we are within a shopping complex; so, there are several cafes and eateries very close by. Visitors are welcome to eat and drink offsite and then return, or bring food and drink into our venue and consume it in our front room. Our front room has tables, chairs, and games to play while fuelling up. Food and drink is not allowed anywhere else within our venue, for preservation reasons.
Is there parking nearby? We are part of Morisset Square shopping complex, so there is ample free parking, covered and uncovered, as well as street parking. There is also a bus stop right outside our venue, and we are a five minute walk from Morisset Station.
Are there toilets inside? Yes, there are toilets and a baby change table.
Are you air conditioned? Yes, ducted throughout. (edit 10/11/2024 - our air conditioning is being upgraded. We have portable units as a temporary measure)
Can we drop our kids off? We require an adult to be present onsite with their kids at all times, and we encourage adults to learn, explore, and play alongside their kids.
Can parents get involved too? Absolutely. We’re not a playspace where adults are relegated to being spectators. We encourage parents and carers to get involved, especially as many of our games and toys work best with multiple hands on deck.
Can we bring a pram or stroller? Yes, you can leave your pram/stroller in our reception area (space may be limited on busier days) or take it around the venue with you. Note that larger prams may need to be lifted over our baby gate at reception (but happy to help with this!). There is a ramp from street level to our front door.
Is it wheelchair accessible? Yes, however (as mentioned above) wheelchairs may need to be lifted over our baby gate at reception (happy to help). Alternatively, the gate can be removed in a few minutes. Our venue and toilets are accessible by wheelchair and there is a ramp from street level to our front door.
Who are you guys? We’re Ryan and Alice, just two parents aiming to get kids excited about old-school play, away from screens and digital devices. Many of our games and toys have been dreamt, designed, and built by us, with our own kids acting as testers and tough critics.
